Jeff Sumerel and I will be back performing together tomorrow at the Leopard Forest Cafe in Travelers Rest. Show starts at 8 PM...should be over by 9:30.

Last summer, Jeff and I performed a series of two-man improvisational comedy shows in Greenville (Coffee Underground) and Spartanburg (The Showroom). The premise was that the two of us would take a one-word audience suggestion and turn it into a complete play.

The show was consistently entertaining and sometimes fairly brilliant. We built each original play on a very loose outline of scenes and characters. We essentially knew where we were going, just not how we’d actually get there.

Jeff liked to say the show was like two jazz musicians jamming on a familiar melody.

This four-week run at Leopard Forest Cafe will be different. Much less structured for us as performers...much more lively for the audience.
