“Tammy Barber” meets me for lunch. She’s great, too. Really cool. Owns a her own equestrian apparel company. And she’s telling me stories about the theatre scene in my hometown...stories I’ve never heard. Hilarious and distressing stories. Best tales I’ve heard since...two hours earlier at the White Whale…
I meet with another film school prospect, “Todd Paquin” (not his real name, of course). And he’s already making movies...documentaries about trains. Really smart, talented guy...got a day job as a welder at GE...dreams of making films.
Didn’t meet a one of these fine folks "socially networking." Just...connected in real life. All very different, all great...really great.
