DATING

We’ve been working on the play “Blind Date” since Saturday. It opens Sunday. Clocks in at my shortest rehearsal period ever.

Becca, Ceilidh (pronounced, “kay-lee”), Devin, and Simon are doing well. They are about 85% off-book today. Not bad for four rehearsals...and one day off for learning lines.

They’re over half-way through the play right now. The ladies have managed to keep the characters they developed during blocking rehearsals, but not the guys. It’s hard to remember new lines and blocking...and act.

Ben (stage manager), Hunter (technical director), and Ali (designer) are here, too. Each of them wanted to act in the play last Friday, but today they are holding up the production from behind the scenes.

Simon learned all 66 books of the Bible for the show. He’s rattling them off...just got stuck on Obadiah.

I mean...who doesn’t get stuck on Obadiah?
