I feel like the world is heading in the wrong direction. Crooks and liars and desperately greedy men continue to thrive.

Wells Fargo Bank got 25 billion dollars from the federal government when they couldn’t pay their bills. One week later, they bought Wachovia Bank...and received another 25 billion dollars in tax breaks.

Yesterday, the same Wells Fargo Bank repossessed my friend’s car after she fell a month behind on her payments. They want her to pay them five times her monthly payment to get it back. Pay it by next week. Or else…

I just had a Sunday School flashback: “The Parable of the Unmerciful Servant” found in Matthew 18:23-35.

“’You worthless slave!’ he said, ‘I forgave you the whole amount you owed me, just because you asked me to. You should have had mercy on your fellow servant, just as I had mercy on you.’”
