My first digital still camera...selected solely for its pocket size and low price. I’ve enjoyed having it handy this past year. Owning such a camera has made me think about composition and lighting again. In effect, I’ve been transported back to my teenage years...before I wrote, when I noticed more physical detail in places.
Purchased this all-automatic 35 SLR camera in 2002 at Service Merchandise in Columbia. Old the day I bought it, but useful. I’ve made terrific photos with it...and Kodak 400 (Process C-41) b/w film.
Lomo SupersamplerI am a big fan of the lomography movement, and its accidental, analogue photo art aesthetic. Lomo cameras use actual 110 or 35 film, and are made completely of plastic. The most consistent thing about lomography is the fact that every image looks snapped at Disneyland, circa 1962.
