“Cows are full of milk...and cows are full of meat!”That pretty much sums up the first of three Improvoke shows at Spartanburg’s The Showroom last night.
Four audience members left it all on the stage and left “comedy pros.”
Phillip Stone (the Egghead…”archivist” by day), Elizabeth Pullan (the Cutie...AmeriCorps worker), and Andrew “Sauce” Molinaro (a true Wildcard in every sense of the word), and Raul Ceballos (the Goofball...and Wofford student), yes-anded their way to improv glory with a terrific show of Rotating Freeze Tag and Fairy Tale Replay (“Jack and the Beanstalk”).
It was so much fun seeing four complete strangers commit to making each other look good on stage. And not only were these folks verbal wits, they also showed their physical comedy chops.
All in all, a great kick-off to what I hope becomes a Showroom tradition.
NEXT PERFORMANCE: Tuesday, February 16.
