EXPOSURE

I edited down BEHELD and submitted it to The Greenville News as a letter to the editor. It was accepted and published two days ago.

It’s an odd feeling...exposed publicly...named signed and all. People I’ve never met know that I don’t have health insurance. Not sure you should tell people that, you know?

Many people have commented on my post...most misunderstanding my point.

I think that people do better, freer. I think we live in a time where most Americans are willing to accept less freedom...or expect a level of service (of care) from their government that is greater than it has ever been before. We’re no longer comfortable with the personal responsibility part of personal freedom. And we all seem to have to keep arriving at the same answer: more laws, more government.

Um...

Am I’m starting to sound like a tea-party keynoter?
