Non-Christians don’t buy that part of the story. It’s what makes them Muslim, or atheist, or whatever. Jesus died when the Romans crucified him. And he stayed dead. His followers came up with the whole resurrection idea later...and went on to build a religion on it.
As a Christian, I actually believe in the resurrection. I freely admit...it sounds really crazy, but I buy it. I have faith.
This morning at church, the pastor spent his time trying to convince me that Jesus actually rose form the dead.
I don’t get it. When did people who don’t believe in the resurrection start going to church on Easter Sunday?
And...why in the world did I go to church this morning?
