THRILLING

While watching the college football game last night, I said to my friend, “See? This is why a football game beats live theatre. We have no idea what is going to happen next...we just have to hope it all works out for the best.”

Fortunately for my Gamecocks, it did. They beat the top team in the country last night in convincing fashion. For a couple of hours at least, it seemed like the team of my thirty year pastime, my team, was officially the best team in the world. What a thrill!

Yesterday I launched a new stage production at Carlbrook School in South Boston, Virginia. We’ve selected the tried and true Mary Chase play “Harvey”...which was turned into a 1950 Jimmy Stewart film of the same name.

My goal is to make this production as thrilling to our audience as that football game was to me.
