I really like my house.
It’s kind of small, I guess. The gas fireplace doesn’t work. There is only one bathroom. The attic ladder needs to be replaced. And…there’s a nagging leak right above the clothes dryer in the basement. Need to get someone over here to fix it.
But…
Every wall is painted the correct color. We have really great appliances in the kitchen. The foam mattress is still so great. The hardwood floors look awesome. The house couldn’t be located in any better spot in this city.
My favorite room is the dining room. There is a large, homemade table that seats six. Two doors open wide onto the back porch, and from March to October we like to eat with the doors open. And at night…especially when the weather is just a little crisp…it’s the best place on earth to eat with my family and our friends.
