GEOGRAPHY

I took this photograph yesterday...less than a hundred miles from my home in Pisgah National Forest. The two figures are (in white) Teri Parker Lewis and (in black) my son Whit. We were on location for the short film, DIMENSIONS.

I’m struck, on the eve of the longest journey in my life, of how infinitely gorgeous Where-I-Am-Right-Now is.

No doubt, the next few days will fill my eyes with jaw-dropping new sights...many, unimaginable to me right now. But...I mean, look at where I AM. No Photoshop was required to create that image...it’s what we all saw yesterday. It’s where we were.

I depart Greenville\SC\USA tomorrow (10/18) at 6:45 AM. I arrive in Sydney\NSW\AUS at 8:25 AM, Tuesday (10/20). Hopefully...during my six-hour layover in Tokyo...I will have a chance to update.
