Most of the passengers on Flight 7 to Tokyo (from Houston, IAH) are Japanese...many of whom are young people...twenties, thirties. The crew is mostly American...older...like, retirement age. I assume that the USA/JAP route is a coveted one...or at least a flight that requires more experience than the GSP/ATL-like flights I am more accustomed to.
The set up here in coach/economy is not all bad. There is a small screen in front of me that offers about 200 different films and just as many TV shows. (The Classic and International fare is excellent...I could totally teach Film Criticism here.)
I have worn black pajama pants to insure absolute comfort en route. I wonder if the young Japanese travelers can tell.
